The leaves change, the temperature starts to cool, and the harvest activities begin all around the city of Idaho Falls and the surrounding areas. It’s no wonder why Fall seems to be a favorite time of year with so many activities going on. Here are a few places to choose from for family harvest enjoyments.

 

 

Madison County

Over railroad tracks then left onto highway 191/ S Yellowstone highway In 1.5 miles take right onto W 3800 S then left onto S 2000 W Archer Road The straw maze will be on your left. Keep your eye out for the Old Schoolhouse. From Rexburg: S on highway 191/ S Yellowstone highway Marriott Hotel on your left. Slight left onto S 2000 W/ Archer Rd, straw maze will be less than a mile. The Maze will be haunted the week before Halloween! October 24th to the 31st. Payment: Cash, only. The straw maze is the closest Halloween entertainment to BYU-Idaho. Not only do they have a HUGE straw maze, but also some incredible food, pumpkins for sale, a kid-friendly animal farm, and a smaller children’s straw maze.

    . 4720 North Salem Rd Take the North Rexburg exit Head North on the Salem Hwy for about two miles and watch for signs. The Rexburg Straw Maze Welcomes all school, church and Halloween groups. The Rexburg Straw Maze sits on thirty acres off of the Salem Hwy, three miles North of Rexburg. It features over one thousand seven hundred 4x4x8 straw bales. The bales are stacked two high to make it more challenging.

Follow this road for 2 miles, turn right at Big Jud's Restaurant, you will see the Straw Maze Light! From Rexburg, Take the Yellowstone highway out of town, turn left/south on 2000 west or The Archer Road, Follow Archer Road for 3 miles until Big Jud's restaurant, turn right, you will see The Straw Maze Lights. Payment: Cash, Check. The Straw Maze welcomes all church groups, family activities, and School groups elementary schools to Brigham Young University Idaho Students.

 

Bingham County-

Bonneville County

      You pick what you need, then come to the red barn and drop off your money. Pumpkins range from tiny ones at $2 to the gigantic pumpkins topping out at $25.
